Caroline was born in Leeds in 1966 a younger sister to Alastair and Malcolm. When she was three the family moved to Hale in South Manchester where she spent the rest of her childhood and teenage years until 1983 when she stayed in Manchester, initially with her friend Nicky and family, whilst Mum and Dad moved briefly to London and then onto Farthings in Hook Norton.
Several family holidays were taken in Tormore a guest house on the Isle of Skye owned by Isobel a great friend of Mums. Caroline and Mark continued to visit Tormore which was a special place, very close to her heart.
Family visited us in Hale and every few years Lucy and the Lester family stayed for Christmas when they were back from Namibia. We also made trips South most years to see the grandparents and all of the MacIvers.
As a teenager Caroline loved music and learnt the flute and guitar.
Her love for animals was shown in her devotion to the family pets; our three Siamese cats Tang, Pancho and Sasha and later Mum's rescue dog Trixie.
She loved travelling starting in Europe with Nicky and then around America after working on BUNAC camps.
Her energy, lively spirit, humour along with her loyal dedication and commitment to her friends and family were already well established throughout these years.

Not seen any of these before, thanks so much for sharing. I love them all, particularly the top left where Caroline appears to be wearing mule-like slippers? Delightful.
