Over the years first Caroline and Mum and then Caroline and Mark would join us during the Christmas period to share family joy and fun together.
Caroline and Mark would usually arrive with bottles of fizz which we would share with a toast.
In a couple of the early years Margaret was holding her breath as Mark poured out the glasses eagerly anticipating an engagement announcement ........ Mark raised his glass and said "Merry Christmas everyone"
In more recent years Christmases shared with Caroline and Mark would sometimes include one of Mark's quirky quizzes which had usually been pre-tested in Richmond with the Scotherns.
